The Beginners Guide to Meditation

Make It Stand Out.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

Catriona Jones

I am an experienced midwife and academic with 30 years of combined responsibility for midwifery practice, research, education and scholarship. I worked clinically for 8 years as a registered midwife, and in an academic role for 21 years. I have a record of accomplishment of grant capture and peer reviewed outputs in the field of maternal, reproductive and sexual health. In addition, I have a record of accomplishment of the successful management and completion of research projects in the field of maternal and reproductive health. My extensive experience of care pathway development for women with tokophobia and fluctuating levels of fear of childbirth has led to me working collaboratively with service users, practitioners and researchers on local, regional, national and international levels, particularly to develop services in maternal and reproductive health. My 21 years in education have enabled me to develop a detailed understanding of many of the critical issues affecting midwifery provision and maternal health, and I have used this to inform the design and development of evidence informed teaching programmes and the provision of learning support across different levels of academic activity. I have a flawless record of accomplishment of the design and delivery of high quality innovative undergraduate and postgraduate education.

In 2020, I was awarded with a Chief Midwifery Office (CMO) Silver Award (from Professor Jacqueline Dunkley-Bent (CMO for England) for my commitment and dedication to the development of care pathways for women who experience fear of childbirth.
